You can read claims, examine IP rights and know how patents are built – but the path to qualifying as a patent attorney doesn't appeal to you? Then this is your role: high-level patent work without the law-firm career ladder – with AI tools, real disputes and direct impact instead.

What you'll do

• Analyze patents and portfolios: the upstream technical analysis of monetization and infringement cases – reading claims, comparing products, gauging potential.
• Help build AI-assisted analysis workflows: design rule sets, drive automation, ensure quality. You help shape how modern patent analysis works.
• Work on major proceedings: cases that TYR pursues together with international law firms against large technology corporations – and the monetization of entire patent portfolios.
• The in-depth legal analysis is done by our experts. You lay the foundation they work on.

What you bring

• Several years of experience as a patent engineer at a patent law firm – or a degree in patent engineering.
• A technical background in computer science, IT or automation.
• A genuine interest in AI and automation – you don't just want to use tools, you want to help shape them.
• A conscious decision not to pursue qualification as a patent attorney – you want to work where patent know-how and technology meet.
