FAQ

Quick answers.

What does litigation funding cost?

Customarily 30 to 40 percent of the proceeds, depending on the chances of success, the amount of damages and the strength of the portfolio. In return, the funder bears all costs – even if the case is lost.

Which cases are suitable?

Robust infringement, solid validity and economically relevant damages. We analyze exactly these points technically and economically during case building, before any funder is approached – the legal assessment is provided by specialized law firms.

How long does it take until filing suit?

As a guideline, around 25 weeks from analysis to filing suit – the longest items are arranging the funding and drafting the complaint.

Do I lose control over my case?

No. You remain the owner of the claim and make the key decisions; funders receive defined information and consultation rights.
