General information
The following information provides a simple overview of what happens to your personal data when you visit this website. Personal data is any data that can be used to identify you personally. Detailed information on data protection can be found in our privacy policy set out below this text.
Data collection on this website
Who is responsible for data collection on this website?
Data processing on this website is carried out by the website operator. You can find the operator’s contact details in the section “Information on the controller” in this privacy policy.
How do we collect your data?
On the one hand, your data is collected when you provide it to us. This may, for example, be data that you send us by email or provide when booking an appointment. There is no contact form on this website.
Other data is collected automatically or with your consent by our IT systems when you visit the website. This is mainly technical data (e.g. internet browser, operating system or time of the page view). This data is collected automatically as soon as you enter this website.
What do we use your data for?
Part of the data is collected to ensure that the website is provided without errors. Other data is statistically analysed in summarised form without cookies in order to understand how the website is used. If contracts can be concluded or initiated via the website, the transmitted data is also processed for contract offers, orders or other order enquiries.
What rights do you have regarding your data?
You have the right at any time to receive information free of charge about the origin, recipient and purpose of your stored personal data. You also have the right to request the correction or deletion of this data. If you have given consent to data processing, you can revoke this consent at any time with effect for the future. You also have the right, under certain circumstances, to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data, to object to the processing and to receive your data in a portable format. Furthermore, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority.
You can contact us at any time regarding this and any other questions on the subject of data protection.
Analysis tools and third-party tools
When you visit this website, its use is statistically analysed in summarised form. For this purpose, we use cookieless audience measurement (Vercel Web Analytics); no user profiles are created.
Detailed information on this and on third-party services (Google Calendar, Google Meet) can be found in the following privacy policy.
2. Hosting
External hosting
This website is hosted externally. The personal data collected on this website is processed on the servers of the host. As this website does not contain any forms, this mainly concerns IP addresses, meta and communication data and website access data (see “Server log files”).
External hosting is carried out for the purpose of fulfilling contracts with our potential and existing customers (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and in the interest of a secure, fast and efficient provision of our online offering by a professional provider (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Our host will only process your data to the extent necessary to fulfil its service obligations and will follow our instructions with regard to this data.
We use the following host:
Vercel Inc.
440 N Barranca Avenue #4133
Covina, CA 91723
USA
This website is delivered as a static website via Vercel’s content delivery network. In the process, your data (in particular your IP address) may also be processed on servers outside the European Union, in particular in the USA. Vercel is certified under the “EU-US Data Privacy Framework” (DPF). The DPF is an agreement between the European Union and the USA intended to ensure compliance with European data protection standards for data processing in the USA. Every company certified under the DPF undertakes to comply with these data protection standards. The transfer is based on the European Commission’s adequacy decision on the DPF (Art. 45 GDPR): https://eur-lex.europa.eu/eli/dec_impl/2023/1795/oj. Further information is available at https://www.dataprivacyframework.gov/list.
Data processing agreement: A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place with Vercel. Vercel’s Data Processing Addendum forms part of Vercel’s terms and additionally contains the EU standard contractual clauses (Art. 46(2)(c) GDPR). It ensures that Vercel processes the personal data of our website visitors only in accordance with our instructions and in compliance with the GDPR: https://vercel.com/legal/dpa.
For further information, please refer to Vercel’s privacy policy: https://vercel.com/legal/privacy-policy.
Server log files
The host automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser automatically transmits to us. These are:
- browser type and browser version
- operating system used
- referrer URL
- host name of the accessing computer or IP address
- time of the server request
This data is not merged with other data sources.
This data is collected on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in the technically error-free presentation and the security of its website – for this purpose, the server log files must be recorded. The server log files are stored by the host and deleted as soon as they are no longer required for these purposes.

Unless a more specific storage period has been stated in this privacy policy, your personal data will remain with us until the purpose for the data processing no longer applies. If you assert a justified request for deletion or revoke your consent to data processing, your data will be deleted unless we have other legally permissible reasons for storing your personal data (e.g. retention periods under tax or commercial law); in the latter case, the data will be deleted once these reasons cease to apply.
General information on the legal bases for data processing on this website
If you have consented to data processing, we process your personal data on the basis of Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR or Art. 9(2)(a) GDPR if special categories of data under Art. 9(1) GDPR are processed. In the event of express consent to the transfer of personal data to third countries, data processing is also based on Art. 49(1)(a) GDPR. If you have consented to the storage of cookies or to access to information on your device (e.g. via device fingerprinting), data processing is additionally based on Section 25(1) TDDDG. Furthermore, we process your data if it is required to fulfil a legal obligation on the basis of Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR. Data processing may also be carried out on the basis of our legitimate interest under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Information on the relevant legal bases in each individual case is provided in the following paragraphs of this privacy policy.
Recipients of personal data
In the course of our business activities, we work with various external parties. In some cases, this also requires the transfer of personal data to these external parties. We only pass on personal data to external parties if this is necessary for the performance of a contract, if we are legally obliged to do so (e.g. disclosure of data to tax authorities), if we have a legitimate interest under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR in the disclosure, or if another legal basis permits the disclosure. When using processors, we only pass on our customers’ personal data on the basis of a valid data processing agreement. In the case of joint processing, a joint processing agreement is concluded.
Recipients of personal data in connection with this website and with contacting us are in particular:
- Vercel Inc. (hosting and cookieless audience measurement, see sections 2 and 5),
- Google Ireland Limited or Google LLC (email communication via Google Workspace, appointment booking via Google Calendar and, where applicable, video conferences via Google Meet, see sections 4 and 5).
Data transfers to the USA
Vercel Inc. and Google LLC are based in the USA. Both companies are certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (DPF). For certified companies, the European Commission has determined an adequate level of data protection (adequacy decision pursuant to Art. 45 GDPR, https://eur-lex.europa.eu/eli/dec_impl/2023/1795/oj). In addition, EU standard contractual clauses (Art. 46(2)(c) GDPR) are used. Details can be found in the respective sections.
Revocation of your consent to data processing (Art. 7(3) GDPR)
Many data processing operations are only possible with your express consent. You can revoke consent you have already given at any time with effect for the future, e.g. by email to hello@tyr.global. The lawfulness of the data processing carried out until the revocation remains unaffected by the revocation.
Right to object to data collection in special cases and to direct marketing (Art. 21 GDPR)
IF THE DATA PROCESSING IS BASED ON ART. 6(1)(E) OR (F) GDPR, YOU HAVE THE RIGHT TO OBJECT AT ANY TIME TO THE PROCESSING OF YOUR PERSONAL DATA ON GROUNDS RELATING TO YOUR PARTICULAR SITUATION; THIS ALSO APPLIES TO PROFILING BASED ON THESE PROVISIONS. THE RESPECTIVE LEGAL BASIS ON WHICH PROCESSING IS BASED CAN BE FOUND IN THIS PRIVACY POLICY. IF YOU OBJECT, WE WILL NO LONGER PROCESS YOUR PERSONAL DATA CONCERNED UNLESS WE CAN DEMONSTRATE COMPELLING LEGITIMATE GROUNDS FOR THE PROCESSING WHICH OVERRIDE YOUR INTERESTS, RIGHTS AND FREEDOMS, OR THE PROCESSING SERVES THE ESTABLISHMENT, EXERCISE OR DEFENCE OF LEGAL CLAIMS (OBJECTION UNDER ART. 21(1) GDPR).
IF YOUR PERSONAL DATA IS PROCESSED FOR THE PURPOSE OF DIRECT MARKETING, YOU HAVE THE RIGHT TO OBJECT AT ANY TIME TO THE PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA CONCERNING YOU FOR THE PURPOSE OF SUCH MARKETING; THIS ALSO APPLIES TO PROFILING INSOFAR AS IT IS RELATED TO SUCH DIRECT MARKETING. IF YOU OBJECT, YOUR PERSONAL DATA WILL SUBSEQUENTLY NO LONGER BE USED FOR THE PURPOSE OF DIRECT MARKETING (OBJECTION UNDER ART. 21(2) GDPR).
Right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR)
In the event of violations of the GDPR, data subjects have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in particular in the member state of their habitual residence, their place of work or the place of the alleged violation. The right to lodge a complaint is without prejudice to any other administrative or judicial remedies.
The supervisory authority competent for us as a non-public body based in Bavaria is the Bavarian State Office for Data Protection Supervision (Bayerisches Landesamt für Datenschutzaufsicht, BayLDA), Ansbach: https://www.lda.bayern.de.
Right to data portability (Art. 20 GDPR)
You have the right to have data that we process automatically on the basis of your consent or in fulfilment of a contract handed over to you or to a third party in a common, machine-readable format. If you request the direct transfer of the data to another controller, this will only be done insofar as it is technically feasible.
Information, correction and deletion (Art. 15 to 17 GDPR)
Within the framework of the applicable statutory provisions, you have the right at any time to free information about your stored personal data, its origin and recipients and the purpose of the data processing (Art. 15 GDPR) and, if applicable, a right to correction (Art. 16 GDPR) or deletion (Art. 17 GDPR) of this data. We will inform the recipients of your data of any correction, deletion or restriction where required (Art. 19 GDPR). You can contact us at any time regarding this and any other questions on the subject of personal data.
Right to restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR)
You have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data. You can contact us about this at any time. The right to restriction of processing exists in the following cases:
- If you dispute the accuracy of your personal data stored by us, we usually need time to verify this. For the duration of the verification, you have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data.
- If the processing of your personal data was/is unlawful, you can request the restriction of data processing instead of deletion.
- If we no longer need your personal data but you need it to exercise, defend or assert legal claims, you have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data instead of deletion.
- If you have lodged an objection pursuant to Art. 21(1) GDPR, your interests and ours must be weighed against each other. As long as it has not yet been determined whose interests prevail, you have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data.
If you have restricted the processing of your personal data, this data – apart from its storage – may only be processed with your consent or for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims or for the protection of the rights of another natural or legal person or for reasons of important public interest of the European Union or a member state.
Obligation to provide data and automated decision-making
You are under no statutory or contractual obligation to provide us with personal data. However, the website cannot be delivered without the technically necessary connection data (see “Server log files”), and we cannot answer your enquiry without contact details. Automated decision-making, including profiling within the meaning of Art. 22 GDPR, does not take place.
SSL or TLS encryption
For security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, such as enquiries that you send to us as the site operator, this site uses SSL or TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the fact that the address line of the browser changes from “http://” to “https://” and by the lock symbol in your browser line.
If SSL or TLS encryption is activated, the data you transmit to us cannot be read by third parties.
Objection to advertising emails
We hereby object to the use of contact data published in the context of the legal notice obligation for sending advertising and information material that has not been expressly requested. The operators of the pages expressly reserve the right to take legal action in the event of unsolicited advertising information being sent, for example through spam emails.
4. Data collection on this website
Cookies
This website does not set any cookies and does not store or access information on your device in order to recognise you. Consent under Section 25(1) TDDDG (German Telecommunications Digital Services Data Protection Act) is therefore not required for visiting the website, and there is no cookie banner.
Only if you actively load the Google calendar for booking an appointment (see section “Google Calendar (appointment booking)”) may Google set its own cookies. For this, we obtain your consent through the click.
You can set your browser so that you are informed about the setting of cookies and only allow cookies in individual cases, exclude the acceptance of cookies for certain cases or in general, and activate the automatic deletion of cookies when closing the browser. If cookies are deactivated, the functionality of this website may be limited.
Enquiries by email or phone
This website does not contain a contact form. The email links on this website merely open your own email program. If you contact us by email or phone, your enquiry, including all resulting personal data (e.g. name, email address, content of the enquiry), will be stored and processed by us for the purpose of handling your request. Beyond the processors named below, we do not pass on this data without your consent.
We use Google Workspace for our email communication. For customers in the European Economic Area, the provider is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Emails you send to us are therefore processed on Google’s servers; this may also involve a transfer to Google LLC in the USA (see “Data transfers to the USA”). Google processes this data as a processor on the basis of the Google Workspace data processing terms.
This data is processed on the basis of Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR if your enquiry is related to the performance of a contract or is necessary to carry out pre-contractual measures. In all other cases, the processing is based on our legitimate interest in the effective handling of enquiries addressed to us (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) or on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) if this has been requested; consent can be revoked at any time.
The data you send to us via contact requests will remain with us until you ask us to delete it, revoke your consent to storage or the purpose for data storage no longer applies (e.g. after your request has been processed). Mandatory statutory provisions – in particular statutory retention periods for business correspondence (e.g. under Section 257 HGB and Section 147 AO) – remain unaffected.
5. Plugins and tools
Vercel Web Analytics
This website uses Vercel Web Analytics, a service of Vercel Inc., 440 N Barranca Avenue #4133, Covina, CA 91723, USA. We use it to analyse the use of our website in summarised (aggregated) form, e.g. number of page views, pages visited, referring website (referrer), approximate location (country/region), device type, browser and operating system.
Vercel Web Analytics works without cookies and does not store any information on your device. No personal user profiles are created, and visitors are not recognised across different websites. To distinguish individual visits, a hash value is generated from the request data; it is not stored permanently and is automatically discarded after 24 hours.
Vercel Web Analytics is used on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in the statistical analysis of website use in summarised form in order to optimise its website. A data processing agreement is in place with Vercel (see section “2. Hosting”). For the transfer of data to the USA and Vercel’s certification under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, see section “2. Hosting”.
Further information is available at https://vercel.com/docs/analytics/privacy-policy.
Google Calendar (appointment booking)
For our business purposes, we also use Google’s online calendar. For users in the European Economic Area, the provider is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. The parent company is Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.
We do not embed Google’s booking calendar automatically. It is only loaded when you click “Book a call” (without JavaScript, the calendar opens in a new window). Only then is a connection to Google’s servers established; in the process, your IP address and possibly other data are transmitted to Google, and Google may set cookies. The data you enter when booking (e.g. name, email address, requested time) is processed by Google and transmitted to us for the purpose of holding the appointment.
Processing is based on the consent you give by clicking (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and Section 25(1) TDDDG) and, insofar as the booking serves to initiate a contract, on Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR. Consent can be revoked at any time with effect for the future, e.g. by email to hello@tyr.global; without a new click, the calendar will not be loaded on your next visit.
We store the booking data in our calendar until the appointment has taken place and the purpose of storage no longer applies; statutory retention periods remain unaffected.
Google also processes your data in the USA, among other places. Google LLC is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. For certified companies, the European Commission has determined an adequate level of data protection (adequacy decision pursuant to Art. 45 GDPR): https://eur-lex.europa.eu/eli/dec_impl/2023/1795/oj.
In addition, Google uses so-called standard contractual clauses pursuant to Art. 46(2) and (3) GDPR. These contract templates provided by the EU Commission ensure that your data complies with European data protection standards even if it is transferred to and stored in third countries such as the USA. Through the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and the standard contractual clauses, Google undertakes to comply with the European level of data protection when processing your relevant data – regardless of whether the data is stored, processed or managed in the USA. The standard contractual clauses are based on an implementing decision of the EU Commission, which you can access at the following link: https://eur-lex.europa.eu/eli/dec_impl/2021/914/oj?locale=en.
Further information on the data processed by Google Calendar can be found in Google’s privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy.
Video conferences (Google Meet)
Google Meet is not embedded in this website. However, for appointments you book via Google Calendar, the booking confirmation may contain a link to a video conference via Google Meet. The provider is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland (parent company: Google LLC, USA).
Only when you open this link and take part in the video conference does Google process the data required for this, in particular your IP address, device and connection data, your displayed name and the audio, video and chat content transmitted during the conference.
Processing is based on Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR insofar as the conversation serves to initiate or perform a contract, and otherwise on our legitimate interest in simple and efficient communication (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). For data transfers to the USA (EU-US Data Privacy Framework, standard contractual clauses), see section “Google Calendar (appointment booking)”.
Further information on the data processed by Google Meet can be found in Google’s privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=en.
Link to LinkedIn
This website contains a plain link to our company profile on LinkedIn. It is not a plugin or an embed: no data is transmitted to LinkedIn when you visit our website. Only when you click the link are you forwarded to LinkedIn’s website; LinkedIn is responsible for the data processing there. Further information can be found in LinkedIn’s privacy policy: https://www.linkedin.com/legal/privacy-policy.
